Whether you’re seeking a teaching license, looking to refresh your proficiencies and advance your career, or improve your skills as a teacher and trainer in non-school settings, the Saint Francis Masters of Arts in Teaching is a flexible, affordable option to achieve your degree.The university offers an elementary education MAT program and a secondary education MAT program. Both licensure and non-licensure pathways are available. For less than $18,000, you can earn an MAT accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
Saint Francis offers fully-online courses, taught asynchronously so you can do the work on your time, with structured deadlines to keep you on track to graduate quickly. Classes are taught in short eight-week sessions, with some 16-week sessions, including a 16-week practicum and 16-week clinical internship which serve as capstones for your degree. We provide the support of experienced online instructors, and a network of alumni mentors, to help you through graduation and beyond.
