Why study nursing: ASN?

Launch or advance your nursing career with a first-rate associate degree and benefit from USF’s long-standing reputation for excellence in nursing education.

Our 2-year ASN program focuses on direct patient care and is ideal for those looking to build a career as an entry-level registered nurse — and to enter the field as quickly as possible.

Working at Parkview Hospital, I always heard Saint Francis had the best nursing program around. Now I know why: there’s a level of professionalism here that prepares students to succeed.

You will complete a rigorous and relevant curriculum complemented by supervised clinical experience. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nurses.

The ASN program is offered at Fort Wayne and USF Crown Point. Full- and part-time options are available.

Academic Plan

An academic plan is a general blueprint showing how one might complete the degree, semester by semester.
