Why Saint Francis for Your 2-Year ADN Program?

At Saint Francis, students have the opportunity for admission into the ADN program. Students are eligible for direct admission with the following criteria:

  • Completion of: One semester of college-level Chemistry and earned a C or better OR Two semesters of high school Chemistry and earned a C or better.
  • Completion of a college-level or Advanced Placement Anatomy & Physiology course (and earned a C or better).

In addition, you’ll benefit from an expert faculty, excellent facilities, small classes, and an education rooted in the Franciscan tradition of serving others.

Saint Francis’ accredited nursing program offers a foundation in holistic health and nursing and introduces you to patient-centered care in areas such as medical-surgical, maternity, mental health, older adults, children, and adolescents. You’ll also develop assessment and communication abilities.

Note: If you’re already an LPN, our 3-semester LPN to ADN program may be right for you.

Our simulation lab and nursing resource center give you a safe environment to learn and practice patient care. You’ll gain experience with industry-standard equipment in professionally modeled exam rooms and patient units, as well as develop your understanding of human physiology with high-fidelity infant, child and adult patient simulators.

Saint Francis’ accredited ADN program takes you into real-world healthcare settings where you will continue to develop your nursing skills. These clinical placements allow you to explore multiple aspects of patient care and experience working with various members of a caregiving team. Recent field sites have included:
