Why Attend USF for a Physician Assistant Degree?

The Physician Assistant program at the University of Saint Francis will prepare you to provide health care to patients using a team approach with your supervising physician. Get Real-World Experience

During the last 12 months of your Physician Assistant program, you will be assigned to clinical rotations where you will spend a minimum of 40 hours per week working with a preceptor. You’ll be required to complete a core of rotations in emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, geriatrics or long-term care, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatry, in addition to an elective. When your core rotations are completed, you’ll be able to choose from a series of rotations in family practice, hospital-based care, internal medicine or a trauma or surgery subspecialty.
